Harish Gandhi

Executive Director

Canaan Partners

Harish Gandhi is an Executive Director at Canaan Partners a Global Venture Capital Company focusing on early stage investments in the technology, telecom and services sector in India.  Harish has extensive industry and operating experience in both India and USA especially in the telecom domain.

Before joining Canaan Partners, Harish headed the Value Added Services Business and the New Product Development team at Bharti Airtel.  In this role Harish was responsible for growing Airtel’s VAS revenues and bringing several innovative VAS solutions to market.  Prior to leading VAS, Harish worked as the Vice President Business Strategy and Planning at Bharti Airtel and was responsible for leading the companies 3G effort.

Prior to Airtel, Harish worked as Director Marketing and Technology at Nokia, and in Business Development and Product Marketing roles at Dilithium Networks.  Harish has also worked at as a management consultant at Bain & Company (San Francisco), and at LCC International an engineering services firm.

Harish has a B. Tech from IIT Bombay, a MSc from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from the Wharton Business School.
